You need to check the timing carefully to be sure there are no glitches or so-called runt pulses when the outputs change state. I think if you connect the Q3 output to the MR input then the 4017 will cycle through the first three Q0 to Q2 outputs. Then if you AND each of the three outputs with the clock you should get the three pulses demultiplexed. As I say, you must check the timings carefully.
