I'll try to keep my answer as simple as possible…. A Frontend Developer is basically someone that handles what the user see.. The UI and UX and designs. These guys are mostly very good in HTML CSS JAVASCRIPT at least and some other side technologies. A Backend Developer handles the behind the scenes stuff like servers APIs and databases.
