Hello Can anyone please suggest as shown in image that how to make capacitor tracks or pads in easyeda? is it a pad or track and how to create it? Please support if anyone has done it earlier. Thanks in advance for support. ![sensor.jpg](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/yW7m0zyUjvyszj3XFg9jGZ4CXMFjJE2D42jlRsWy.jpeg)

There are too many possible answers to your question. It would help if you could post more information about the circuit and PCB that you are trying to copy. A link to the original design information? A schematic and more images of the PCB?

I suggest that you watch this video before going any further with your project: [https://youtu.be/IGP38bz-K48](https://youtu.be/IGP38bz-K48)

@andyfierman Thanks, you are always be a helping hand to encourage to use easyeda. Real query is that I would like to create a moisture sensor based on capacitance created on pcb board itself like as shown in the image. I would like to know that is it a exposed copper on the big size tracks or is it a pad (but how to connect pad to tracks on components)? Attached is the kicad files for both pcb & schematics. Please suggest if you can help on this. [kicad PCB & Schematics](https://github.com/RonMcKay/capacitive-soil-moisture-sensor/tree/master/hardware)

@vikramnain20, "...is it a exposed copper on the big size tracks or is it a pad (but how to connect pad to tracks on components)?" You can see from the image that the tracks that are at the "wet" end of the sensor are covered in soldermask. Without a schematic to see exactly what those tracks are and how they are connected, it is not possible to say how to realise them on the PCB. Note that I don't currently have a copy of Kicad installed and configured - or the time to do so - so if you want me or anyone else to look at a schematic and PCB you'll have to import or create them in EasyEDA.

@andyfierman Find the attached PDF version of schematics for the board. [https://www.hackster.io/rbaron/a-wifi-enabled-soil-moisture-sensor-49912b](https://www.hackster.io/rbaron/a-wifi-enabled-soil-moisture-sensor-49912b)

@vikramnain20, The link you posted is for a different design to the one you started off talking about. When you have a schematic in EasyEDA that is ready to try to convert to PCB then make it public and post the link to the project and then maybe someone can advise on the best way to design and create the plates for the capacitance.
