Why is black solder resist so expensive ?

One of my latest board will be visible through a acrylic panel and it would be good if it was black.  But black costs almost double the cost of red/blue/yellow/white, and of course even more than green. Any ideas why ?

Thanks for your feedback . Basically black ink is relatively expensive and rare.  Maybe we can find a solution in the future .

Not anymore, right? :) Now even matte black cost the same while every other prototype pcb house I have seen adds cos for matte.

@egaistek Yep - already ordered the Mk2 in it !   The price is now $2 for 5 rather than 10, but that's still an absolute bargain !!!
