annoying drop-down menus

When my cursor passes over one of the drop\-down menus\, which happens often\, I have to click somewhere to remove it\.  I find it impossible to work without this constantly happening\.  It is a web standard that this should only happen when I \*hover\* which means the menu waits for a second before opening\. I know this is only an annoyance, but it has gotten very irritating.

We in order to fix another issue to do this. And when you use any desktop applications, you will find if you want to close the drop-down menu you have to click other area.

\> if you want to close the drop\-down menu you have to click other area\. That's true.  But a desktop app doesn't pop down when you pass quickly over a menu.

\> We in order to fix another issue to do this\. Does this mean it is going to be fixed.  It is still driving me crazy. Forget anything I said about closing the dialog.  The problem is that when the cursor passes over the button, no matter how fast, the dialog pops up.  So dialogs pop up constantly as the cursor moves around.  Normally in a browser you have to pause over an item to make it pop-up and this isn't a problem.

Also the menu that does pop up should disappear when you move the mouse pointer away from it.  Again the program isn't following standard Windows practice

After a year this is still my biggest problem with easyeda.  I can't believe others aren't annoyed with dialogs popping up when not wanted and the having to click somewhere to get rid of it.  It is a zoo of dialogs as I move the cursor around.  Should I make a video showing this?  I could also show a browser page from the web that does it right. Can others tell their opinion?  +1  -1  etc.?

Dear UserSupport, Guys, this issue is now 2 years old. Please remove the hover event on the menu-toolbar and change it to a click-event. There is no reason, from a UX point of view, why the flyout should open when the mousecursor hover. This annoying issue breaks the workflow everyday. Thank you.

If anyone interested, I've built a simple extension that partially fixes the issue. All the required files and installation instructions could be found here: - [https://github.com/turbobabr/easyeda-extension-menu-ux-normalizer](https://github.com/turbobabr/easyeda-extension-menu-ux-normalizer) It's not that easy to simulate a native \`mac/win\` UX via extension\, but at least it block the \`hover\` events and all the drop\-downs are triggered by mouse click event with the extension installed: ![demo-with-extension.gif](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/MnEljR2dqaC66sjw4REPpNFKw8otNBcjwKJMbFG8.gif) I'd been used this hack for a while and apparently it works quite well on \`macos/chrome\` without breaking anything\.

@turbobabr, thank you! Works as expected, on Windows too.  \o/
