eelib resistors

Hello, when selecting a resistor from the eelib selection, do I just need to name the resistor with the value I need for JLCPCB to assemble my pcb, or do I need to go into the extended library and find the right value resistor to use in my schematic? thank you.

You need to find the right value resistor from the JLCPCB section of the Shift+F library to use in my schematic. That way you pull all the necessary attributes into the schematic and hence into the PCB.

You can assign the LCSC part number at export BOM dialog

@UserSupport, That is true but it can be dangerous. For example, if the user places an 0805 part and then while changing the value, selects a new LCSC part which also changes the package from 0805 to, for example, 1206 but does not realise that they have done this. Then they have a part in the schematic that pulls an 0805 footprint into the PCB but a BOM that call up a part in a 1206 package. If the users wants a PBCA from JLCPCB then the safest way to select parts is to choose them directly from the **Library > JLCPCB** list. ;) :)
