Sometimes when I open an old board design it asks to save it when I'm done. Also I have opened an old one thinking it is the current one. It would be nice if I could lock an entire project so it matches the release.
Its a mess to have old version of a project being edited after manufature of the PCB. A manufatured version of a project should not be editable.
If old versions of a projects could be defaulted to read-only, then this could also be used to solve the other major issue: The problem with multiuser vs. multiversions.
See [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Project-version-confusion-with-multiple-users-4b1b703ab7ef458e84e207d5e634feb1](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Project-version-confusion-with-multiple-users-4b1b703ab7ef458e84e207d5e634feb1)
Default could then be - to always save to the latest version of a project. As you cannot edit previous versions, the file to be saved would always be from the latest version.
I'm sorry to say, that we are leaving EasyEDA just because of these two major problems.
