Hello! I was about to get SMT service from JLCPCB, however, I do only have one question what does "0 for JLCPCB SMT Service" means even though stocks are available at LCSC?
LCSC and JLCPCB stocks are separate because they are separate operating business units.
Stock cannot simply be transferred between them on a per customer basis.
If you want parts assembled onto a board by JLCPCB then they must be in stock at JLCPCB at PCB build-time.
@jvrpapa05 Hello ;
Stocks at LCSC belong to LCSC available parts, Stocks at JLCPCB belong to what is available at JLCPCB SMT Parts which you can verify through the SMT Parts library, kindly check the following link : [https://jlcpcb.com/parts](https://jlcpcb.com/parts)
JLCPCB can only make the assembly of the parts available at the JLCPCB stocks, both companies have separated logistics so separated stocks but both companies share the same parts data like footprints, parts number etc, and it is also the same labeling at EasyEDA design tool so users will use the same syntax while making the design and handling the parts availability.
I also have one question about availability of parts for the SMT service.
After searching for a tactile switch (TS-1187A-B-A-B) at [https://jlcpcb.com/parts](https://jlcpcb.com/parts), I used the code to search it inside EasyEDA:
![easyedapart.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/mr13XVEXds2AfdIdsPz9H7CJDAjWgnP8EEdVQs8B.png)
There is no entry falling inside JLCPCB Assembled category. However, the one from LCSC category has 35093 parts available for JLCPCB SMT service. Also, I could not see the SMT icon next to the verified shield and shopping cart icons.
Now I am confused. As far as I know (I don't know much), everything from [https://jlcpcb.com/parts](https://jlcpcb.com/parts) should be available for the SMT service from JLCPCB, which means there should be an SMT icon together with that part entry, which means such entry should fall inside JLCPCB Assembled category. Does that make sense?
In a nutshell: Is this part available for the assemble service? Will it be soldered on the PCB I order?
Thank you.
@caiodba Hello
Due to the new update of JLCPCB parts library that supports now new category and some new parts the EasyEDA team needs some time to update them sources as well. Yes you are right, all the parts which are available in JLCPCB parts library are available for Assembly (including the C318884 part that you have asked about).
@andyfierman kindly check the issue, several parts are missing.
@JLCPCBsupport,
Sorry but I do not have access to the JLCPCB Assembled libraries to update them.
Can you provide @UserSupport with a list of missing parts?
The EasyEDA databases are now almost useless because they are in a huge discrepancy with JLCPCB databases. The SMT icon is missing for a lot for parts from JLCPCB. The basic/extended field is also differs from JLCPCB.
EasyEDA team, please sync the databases as soon as possible.
