Where would I find the schematic and pcb layouts for a toshiba TODX296 optical transceiver module? http://html.alldatasheet.com/html-pdf/94073/TOSHIBA/TODX296/497/2/TODX296.html

The schematic and PCB layout for the internals of the original module? It's unlikely that they were ever put into the public domain. You could try an image Search for a dismantled unit.

Thanks for responding. I just need something to help me make a schematic and pcb layout. I think I can handle it based off some tutorials but I haven't found any video on how to make a layout if there isn't one in the library.

Yes but it's that a schematic and PCB for the internals of and to their reproduce the module or is it to create a schematic symbol and PCB footprint for the module for a project that is one of the modules?

Here's the part of the Tutorial about **Creating the Schematic Libs** https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/SchematicLibs.htm#Creating-the-Schematic-LibsTo get you started here are some of my very early tutorials about Schematic Symbol and PCB Lib (footprint) creation. Some information about creating the PCB Libs can be found here: https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/PCBLib.htm#Creating-The-PCB-Libs and some more detailed information in an old tutorial of mine. * Note that the following is not from a current, official EasyEDA Tutorial. The EasyEDA GUI and the way of navigating the parts libraries etc. have changed quite a bit since then but the essentials are the same. **Creating The PCB Libs** in: https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vRLVBibfOvbUvX24f4b_u4PxhSxlgOoeNpM0c0AARTWbRWdcXT9zCBibBAn2MoLlwsRb6PjQ09MGFN_/pub

Thank you so much for that! I managed to get the hole layout done but my ADHD was starting to flare up. Thanks for helping out an old man.

Thank you for the resources. I was able to finish in a fraction of the time it would have taken me by myself :#

How would I go about setting my layout to be literally solid enough together to not have to be so fragile with it? The repair process is somewhat disrupting the purpose of the design. Do I need [product design and development][1]? [1]: http://www.marsint.com/product-design-and-engineering/product-design-and-development/
