Hello, im designing an Led matrix and when i wanted to check the prize by quoting for an PCB with assembly I got the wrong quantity of parts (instead of 110 pieces of Led's (Ws2812b) and 110 capacitors (CC0603KRX7R9BB104) which are all parts both are shown in the assembly only as 22 parts. So i asked in this forum and i got a replie that this can happen if there are not enough parts in stock and i should just wait because stock is low. I wandert because stock was at 66000 parts and because both components were scaled down to a fith so i replied but i never got an answer. This was already around two months ago and there is still the same problem [Here](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1iONc_2jLoxfg10W7hxO8vyJ-p1rMbA1f?usp=sharing) are the files. Pls. note that this is not the complete design. Thanks

Please to explain you problem because this is not clear, have you placed the order ! if yes what is your order number? and also you said you checked the prize !!! which prize? ![prize.JPG](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/yX7IfNdmtP68aOkg9qCjarH1Us6bhzuEU7SdV6ku.jpeg) Please to note also that the following identification number refers to a ceramic capacitor not a transistor : CC0603KRX7R9BB104 Any further details could help us to better assist you.

@JLCPCBsupport, "...you said you checked the prize !!! which prize?..." J.B. means "price". :)

At EasyEDA editor, the stock and price is from LCSC, not JLCPCB, doesn't support to desplay JLCPCB data yet.

@jonabuck2, There are some things about your post that are unclear. Can you make your project public and post the url to it please? "...110 transistors (CC0603KRX7R9BB104)..." CC0603KRX7R9BB104 is not a transistor, it is a 100nF MLCC capacitor: [https://lcsc\.com/product\-detail/Multilayer\-Ceramic\-Capacitors\-MLCC\-SMD\-SMT\_YAGEO\-CC0603KRX7R9BB104\_C14663\.html](https://lcsc.com/product-detail/Multilayer-Ceramic-Capacitors-MLCC-SMD-SMT_YAGEO-CC0603KRX7R9BB104_C14663.html)

You can just try to order it and you should see the problem

@jonabuck2, @JLCPCBsupport Thanks. As far as I know, when you ask JLCPCB for SMT Assembly of your board, they do not use the LCSC stock of parts: they have their own here: [https://jlcpcb.com/parts](https://jlcpcb.com/parts) but you can search this using the LCSC part number. I think there are two things that may help to explain what has happened: 1) Maybe JLCPCB has a minimum order quantity of 5 so they have quoted 110/5 = 22; 2) You have 110 of each of the LED and the capacitor parts from LCSC in your BoM but JLCPCB only have a 22 of each part in stock.

I don't think the second can be the problem, because Jlcpcb has a stock of 51950 of the led's which should be plenty. for the second i have no Idea but i cant imagine it because more people should have the Problem. Or am I wrong?

@**andyfierman **yes LCSC and JLCPCB use the same parts numbers but separated stocks. For the first suggested cause : JLCPCB don't have a MOQ for the assembly service, we assemble the desired quantity regarding the customer design For the second suggested cause : If the desired quantity is not available in our stock we don't assemble the realted part because the customer will be not able to order the part if the quanlity is not available. @jonabuck2 Sorry for not checking the BOM and P&P files, I didn't noticed that you attached them link in your first post. After checking the files I am sure that you have a problem in your schematic! You get the BOM list from the schematic and the P&P file from the PCB design and these two should be linked to each other. Regarding the files that you have provided, it seems that you have in your schematic a component with prefix LED1 but it is missed in the PCB design, the same for many other components, the following image related to the BOM list shows the available prefix in your PCB design starting from LED1 up to LED 110 (total of 110 pieces) ![LED.JPG](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/9Y6JS2I5O7tIbow2ZQg9uVOsCMoBrD1ectuNm6fu.jpeg) Then the following image is related to the P&P file showing that Prefix that you used in your PCB design are : LED2 LED3 LED4 LED5 LED6 LED7 LED10 LED11 LED12 LED13 LED14 LED15 LED87 LED89 LED91 LED92 LED93 LED97 LED99 LED101 LED102 LED103 (TOTAL OF 22 Pieces) which explains the error that you got when you place the order because when the system links the BOM to the P&P it will find some missing parts so only the detected parts will be listed in your order ![led2.JPG](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/f2J27MqfOtiNRyAHVVw32MWYlYZJyTSkklrWAN5L.jpeg) The same explanation for the capacitors. I advise you to go check the schematic to verify what I explained above, if what I investigated is correct then all what you need is to update the PCB design regarding the schematic design and it will be all fine.

Ok this is the problem just a last question: can i let it rename it automatically or update the PCB without changing the position because placing them is not fun! If not i will rename them manually. Thanks to the support and andyfierman!

It looks like the prefixes in the schematic are sequential (LED1, LED2 ... LED110, C1, C2...C110) but the prefixes in the PCB are not numbered the same. For example you have some part numbered above 110 like LED130 and C126. Unfortunately I think you will have to manually renumber the parts in the PCB. I have tried this with all the parts in the PCB locked as well as with them unlocked but the result if you simply do **Update PCB...** in the Schematic or **Import Changes...** in the PCB is that all the parts will be ripped up and dumped in the bottom right corner below the PCB: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/qBDAJWB9BDZkhAv0wrAysCt1m4PFLNUewlaZLUsn.png) You could manually reposition all the parts back onto the PCB but that is very risky compared to just renumbering their prefixes. Note that checking the Schematic Design Manager shows that you have 3 incomplete nets in the Schematic and checking the PCB Design Manager shows several duplicate netnames in the PCB which makes it hard to verify the connectivity against the Schematic. I would strongly recommend that: 1. you correct the incomplete nets in the Schematic (including adding Not Connected green X symbols to unconnected pins); 2. you lock **everything** on the PCB (CTRL+A then select LOCKED = YES in the right hand panel) and then; 3. very carefully correct the prefixes of the caps and LEDs on the PCB.
