One of my boards in 3D view shows components off of the board in space. I do not know why.
The board is not even centered on the screen.

I've seen this problem too. One way to fix it is to relink (link again) 3D models to components in PCB editor and they should go to it's place in 3D view. Hope, this bug will be fixed soon.
Please right-click the component and Update it. it will be fixed at next release.
This bug dont seem to be fixed yet. Editing footprints individually and placing 3d model works fine but when I start laying out pcb, moving components around, then doing 3d preview, all the models goes out in space and not on the board.
