I cannot import .obj files. I am able to import WRL, but not OBJ. The OBJ file has the MTL file with it but no parts show up in the window when I select the OBJ file. I have a few 3d model in there now, but it is not clear where in my workspace these models are stored (default directory?). Am I correct to understand that EASYEDA OBJ files are a combination of OBJ and MTL?
Typical procedure:
* I made a folder called 3D models under EasyEDA folder in my Windows "documents" directory (Documents/EASYEDA/3D Models)
* I place the zip files into the top easyeda folder and unzip to the 3D folder. The OBJ and the MTL files are there.
* I go to "new 3D model", select he OBJ file, but nothing shows up in the parts window.
I also find the parts that do import (WRL and some old OBJ) are not sized correctly. Auto brings it close, but it needs adjustment for the pins to fit in the holes properly.
Where are MY symbols and footprints stored? On my computer or in the cloud? I just can't find them. I have access to them, and I have no problems making symbols or footprints and associating them together, I just can't find where they are stored.
Why is this so hard???
