It may be cool to add a parameter section to set the default 3D view settings (board color and surface finish), it's a little bit useless but it may be cool.

I know that we can change it, my request was about being able to change the default options (blue with gold surface finish) to not have to change it manually each time i do a 3D view.
Agree, Not important but would be a nice feature. Majority of boards are manufactured as green with silver pads. Blue and gold looks good in the 2d/3d preview but option to choose board colour and silver or gold pads would be cool.
