Just tried to fit the SN65C1168NSR to the PCBs I received last week, my first order with JLCPCB. Unfortunately the footprint for this part that is defined in the layout library is for an SOIC-16W (wide). No such part exists.
This "-NSR" TI part number specifies the normal, narrow SOIC-16 and worse than that, this device is not available anywhere in the wide SOIC-16W package.
I'm reduced to bridging the gaps with fine wire. That's a major PITA even though I have only 10 of them to make up.
The footprint needs to be corrected before somebody else gets caught by it. It's currently showing as "SOIC-300_MIL" (there is no such part) and should presumably be "SOIC_16_150MIL". I can't see how to change that in the layout environment.
When I try to insert a .JPG screenshot, I get error message saying only .JPG etc formats are supported. This is not going well.....
