**Feature Request** > Brief title for your desired feature: Ability to hide 'Copper Area' & 'Solid Region' borders > How would you like the feature to work? Option to make the borders of 'Copper Area' & 'Solid Region' invisible. This should be a global switch, similar to the "Copper Zone" Visible / Invisible option. > Why is this feature important to you? When routing close to a border, the border outline can obscure what I'm working on

@Support, What Sunkmail is asking for is the Option to make the **borders* of 'Copper Area' & 'Solid Region' invisible. In other words to make invisible the whole of the copper area *and* the dashed border line around the edge. At present it is possible to make the area invisible but the dashed border line is always visible and sometimes that gets in the way. :)

For many cases it might be handy to have an option to automatically build copper areas for both layers of a 2-layer board instead of having to draw one yourself and adjust it if you resize the board and having it being accidentally selected etc. This could be in the "copper area manager" but I suppose it would be quite a big change to implement.

There really is little need for Kimmo Lehto's feature because to simply add a copper area over the whole of a single layer all you have to do is to draw a shape bigger then the board outline, assign a net name to it and then press Shift-B. Copy and paste the shape, move it onto the other layer and reassign the net name then repeat Shift-B to copper flood the other side.
