Hi, I'm working on an RFID reader PCB but need an NFC antenna and was wondering how I can add this to my EasyEDA schematic/PCB. Thanks.

Adding it to the schematic is easy: 1. Find, edit or create a suitable antenna PCB Footprint. 2. Find, edit or create a suitable antenna Schematic Symbol then assign the PCB Footprint to it using the Footprint Manager. When you do Update PCB then the assigned Footprint will be pulled into the PCB. The problem comes when you try to route the antenna. I'm not going to describe the problem and possible solutions in detail because I have already done so in several previous topics. This most recent one covers most of it: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Yellow-cross-on-pad-component-d60f3f94a84f46559e5f7800e6964836](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Yellow-cross-on-pad-component-d60f3f94a84f46559e5f7800e6964836)

There are two other, earlier topics that you can find simply be searching the forum using the search term: NFC antenna

@andyfierman Thank you, are you aware if jlcpcb is able to add NFC antennas into their PCBs?

@andyfierman I also imported a footprint, but am a little confused on which pins this would be connected to for my transceiver chip (MFRC522)?![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/14pgbpLhcoSoDvEwo5h6FF9MV5GoHlLrurFXpPBW.png)

"are you aware if jlcpcb is able to add NFC antennas into their PCBs?" I know JLCPCB can supply and therefore assemble SMD NFC antennas but since your project is private, only you can see it and you gave no information about what solution you were looking at or what parts you might be considering. "...which pins this would be connected to for my transceiver chip (MFRC522)?" You have given no information from which to identify the part that you have shown in the image above.

@andyfierman Sorry, the item at the top are the 3 connector pins for my NFC antenna blueprint. The item at the bottom is a MFRC522 (13.56MHz) as my transceiver. I've also sent a photo of the NFC's PCB footprint. ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/xtftHj7fBeeZhizxPcZZ6aSo9OSE6gt9CwvCs1zu.png)
