Please allow one to click and select a green node from within a trace and manually enter a desired XY positional coordinate within the properties tab. If this could be extended to other modes such as drawing of shapes that would be fantastic. Addionally the ability to specify coordinates for TEXT would be super helpful.

It has been possible to edit track vertices individually for some time now:
Click on a track to select it;
Click again on a segment of that track to select just that segment;
Edit the XY end points of that segment;
Other segments move to stay joined to the edited segment:
Brand new interactions and interfaces. 
Easy to use and quick to get started. 
Agreed. I often have to cut a track so that I can edit an end-point to an exact position, then join it again and hope it doesn't move.
