**BUG** Concise problem statement: Steps to reproduce bug: 1. Open both schematics from project [DirSpk1b2][1] 2. Select Annotate... from menu with "All Opened Schematics" and "Re-annotate All" ![Annotate options as described][2] 3. Select "Annotate" Results: 1. the schematic I am currently looking at has been renumbered, but the other one has not 2. neither schematic is marked as requiring a save ![No "asterix" on tabs][3] 3. the Convert to PCB function gives errors because multiple items have the same ID: ![enter image description here][4] Expected results: 1. both schematics should be renumbered 2. both schematics should be marked as requiring a save 3. the Convert to PCB function should not give errors Browser: Chrome Version 50.0.2661.102 m. Also, the order of the resulting annotations is quite unpredictable. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: /editor/20160515/5737d95b0b116.png

What happens if you press `Reset` first (which should reset all numering to `?`) and then reannotate?

Yes, It will be fixed soon. We hope you to use https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/schematic.htm#Prefix-Start for your next project.

If I select "All opened schematics", then reset, then Annotate, both schematics are annotated in a sensible order, however, they still share component names - for example, there is one R1 on each schematic. If you'd like to try it out yourself, I put a multi-schematic version of the project here: https://easyeda.com/alan.green/Multi_schematic_Annotate_Issue-trkCwO6oi

Support: thank you! That's a good hint and when I use prefix start, the numbering works OK.
