`Super Menu > Miscellaneous > Layer Options...`
Tick `TopSolderLayer` (or `BottomSolderLayer` or both);
Then make the new layer visible and active in the Layers drop down box;
Then you can draw on the solder mask layer(s)

@andyfierman
Thank you.
Is it possible to change an arc that has already been drawn on a different layer to the soldermask layer?
I have imported a DXF file but can't seem to import it to the soldermask layer or change anything that has been imported to the soldermask layer.
Having played about with trying to move an object drawn on a copper or a silk screen layer onto a solder mask layer, the answer seems to be no.
May I suggest that you email Support (address is here: ) and attach your DXF file. They may be able to sort the issue out for you.
