Auto Router and GND Plane

Hey, I'm trying to use the SW to build a PCB but I have a weird problem. I added a GND plane to both the top and bottom layers, when i run the autorouter it still tries to connect grounds. I tried skipping the GND net and it does, indeed, skip the GND but now SOME of the GNDs show as not connected. ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/341T4c8hesxfleksIn8eIR1QGaeoQlOAExDKFIAu.png) What am i doing wrong ?

Hi, looks like the project is private, so only you can see it. The first mistake is using the autorouter, but that's not the topic here. Skipping the GND net is a very wise thing to do, otherwise you'd have a big mess on the PCB. But my guess is that your traces split the ground plane on both layers, but since some components also need the ground pins connected, but are left on their ground islands, they are unable to connect to the ground plane and thats why you see the rats nest wires. See if you can use some vias to stitch them together. Also see if the traces are going from far places for no reason, that is, is your component placement done well? Are components that are drawn close on the schematic, also close on the pcb? See how you like it now, then maybe have another go at the PCB later, see if you can improve it! Cheers!
