BOM Tool combines parts with the same name, even if user parameters are different

If you have two components with the same value and package, but a user parameter that is different it will still combine the parts in the BOM. For instance: 10k 0402 resistor with 1% precision 10k 0402 resistor with 0.1% precision Both parts will have 10k value and 0402 package, but I dont want them combined on the BOM. We use a different part number, so the two parts are R103MF0402 (1%) and R103P0402 (precision 0.1), and they need to be separated on the BOM. Can we make the BOM separate by user parameters as well, or is there another way to do this?

Hi It is a known issue, at present the editor separates the BOM by package and name, if they are the same they be combined together, we will improve this at v5.9 now, please separate it by yourself after export the BOM. Thanks for the report.

@UserSupport Good to know, thanks for the information. At the present time we have been using 10k P for the value on precision resistors. This separates them on the BOM until this is resolved.
