Hello, I nee d a N-MOS with a low Gate Threshold Voltage, but I did not found it in the library. So,I wanted to create mine, based on the [BSS138][1], and I found a Pspice model (below) The problem is the simulation terminates with a timeout with this component (notwith another N-MOS). So,I would like to know if my problem comes from my model. Is there any warning or error message if there is a problem in the model ? Thank you. This is the model I found. .SUBCKT bss138lt1 1 2 3 ************************************** * Model Generated by MODPEX * *Copyright(c) Symmetry Design Systems* * All Rights Reserved * * UNPUBLISHED LICENSED SOFTWARE * * Contains Proprietary Information * * Which is The Property of * * SYMMETRY OR ITS LICENSORS * *Commercial Use or Resale Restricted * * by Symmetry License Agreement * ************************************** * Model generated on May 2, 03 * MODEL FORMAT: PSpice * Symmetry POWER MOS Model (Version 1.0) * External Node Designations * Node 1 -> Drain * Node 2 -> Gate * Node 3 -> Source M1 9 7 8 8 MM L=100u W=100u * Default values used in MM: * The voltage-dependent capacitances are * not included. I'm not sure why your downloaded model didn't work. Although we recommend that users look for Spice3 rather than Pspice 3rd party models, in fact the model you have found is identical to the Spice3 model from OnSemi. I suspect you may have forgotten to change the spice prefix in the symbol from `M` to `X` or maybe not checked the spice pin numbering assignments. * In fact there was already a BSS138 model in the spice model library list (see: https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How_to_find_simulatable_parts_in_EasyEDA-1YgasK2kC) (from Diodes Inc) which you could have assigned to a suitable symbol from the `System Components > Spice Discrete` symbols library as described in the Simulation eBook but no matter: if you now look through `System Components > Spice Discrete` you will now find a symbol for the Diodes Inc BSS138 and one for the OnSemi BSS138LT1. :)
