Hello, I have a ground plane in my PCB. So what makes sense to me is that every group of grounds close to each other will be connected together through short traces and have a Via connecting them to the ground plane. Is that correct?
But what the autorouter does is connect ALL ground points together and have a Via every now and then. why does it do that?
