Board Cutouts via DXF file

Hello, I'm trying to create multiple sub-PCBs with complex forms on one PCB. Therefore, I used an external CAD program to create the board outlines. While importing the DXF file, I placed it on the board outline layer. Is this the correct proceeding to also create board cutouts (see picture)? Please notice that the cutouts are not completed yet. ![Cutouts_2.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/11L6ao5z9yQAoVj4aTuXIqWDziy6AnZWd6T4WHPs.png) In other forum topics, I have read that the paths should be converted to NPTH paths. Unfortunately, I can only convert one shape at a time to NPTH, which is quite time consuming. Also, after rendering the Board in the 3D viewer, the converted paths do not look right to me: ![3DView.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/CRzPb0ZCL8oVGLwHI7uOHqHZ7f74Wlb4gyZhVPoJ.png) I only converted the most left cutout to NPTH, all other cutouts are made in the board outline layer. Can you help me with that? Thanks very much, Simon

Using the board outline layer is good. It is probably safer to check the board outline using **gerbv** than relying on the board viewer.

Thanks for your fast response. I'll have a look with gerbv as soon as the design is finished.
