Hi, I've created a schematic for a simple PSU which includes a w005 bridge rectifier, my problem is I can't find a package type for a bridge rectifier; do I need to create a new package for bridge rectifiers or have I missed something?

Sorry, but I'm not sure what a w500 bridge rectifier is. Could you post a link to a datasheet?
In the meanwhile, try doing **Shift+F** in any canvas schematic or PCB and then searching for `bridge`.
That will bring up a load of bridge rectifier symbols and packages.

I think you can get the package type from the given list. But if you are not able to find then sure go for the own package type. It is also easy to create your own. Create it and save it for future use.
