You need to use EasyEDA editor to create some projects before publishing
Cannot get antenna pads to connect to any track

HI all,
I've been designing a board where I need a PCB wifi antenna for an ESP32.
I choose this antenna but for some reason, I cannot connect either one of its pads to anything. It is also flagged in the DRC.
Is there anything that I should change? I tried many other antennas but the problem persists. I used its own symbol in the schematic.

The basic problem is that a PCB antenna is a single piece of copper so it cannot have different:

  • numbered pads on it;
  • netnames connected to it.

Thank you for your help. I connected it using the "routing conflict ignore" function.
