**BUG** Concise problem statement: Text can be swapped onto a different layer by selecting it and then: Properties > Text Properties > Layer Multiple text selection (made using Left-click and drag) does not invoke the properties panel and so cannot be swapped onto a different layer. I could not find a way to group the selection to try it that way. Steps to reproduce bug: 1. Select a single line of text. 2. Properties > Text Properties > Layer 3. Change layer. 4. That works OK. 5. Select more than one line of text. Results: Properties panel does not appear. Therefore it is not possible to select a new layer for the text. Expected results: Properties panel should not appear, making it possible to select a new layer for the text. Note: what to do if selected text is not all on the same layer?
