Change component in schematic without new pcb

Hello I have made a schematic with a lot of components and this is converted to a PCB and I have made a nice PCB layout. Now I have replaced one single component type in the schematic and now my question is.... do I have to converte the new schematic again and make a complete new PCB layout again for this one replacement of components...? Or is there an easdier trick...? Best regards Ove
