Change part outline?

Just getting into PCB designing and having an issue with this program. I found a similar part to what I want to use(a fuse holder) in the libraries but I need to change the outer dimensions of it to match what I am using. I see the components use tracks to define the component shape but how in the word do I change these? Even opening the part up in the edit window when you click on the track outline it gives you the same value for start/stop x and start/stop y. Why is it so hard to make this work? I just want to make the outline a rectangle with specific dimensions. Why is there not some rectangle tool or some simple length/width value box I can plug some numbers into. Some things with this program have been pretty easy to figure out but it seems to fall flat on its face when it comes to setting values and dimensions for things. I don't even see an option to easily select multiple items and easily specific some distance/width between them or anything like that. Am I missing something big within this program that makes this stuff easy? Is there another more geared towards beginners EDA program that makes easy work of that type of stuff?

Yeah, it is near impossible to use the track tool and easily define sizes for the different sizes. Easily defining side lengths for objects should be one of the most simple things a program like this should be able to do but it seems someone just completely skipped over that.

@jeremy0203, In the meanwhile you can workaround this issue by making the outline out of separate lines for whch you can specify the start X,Y and end X,Y points individually. So if you want to make a rectangle centred on 0,0 then it is a simple matter of defining the first line at start X,Y and end X,-Y to define the right hand side Then copy and paste the line and edit it to start -X,Y and end -X,-Y to define the left hand side. Copy and paste and edit again to start -X,Y and end X,Y to define the bottom. Copy and paste and edit again to start -X,-Y and end X,-Y to define the top. Not perfect but better. :)
