Changing design rule.

I am routing a board that had the power rails set to a width of 0.6mm. As I've added a QFN chip I had to reduce these to 0.4mm. I did it here, ![design.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/c6RKt1xmpQuS5rhNejb3hG3xyW7lHJgcijYlcjIY.png) Note, the "Apply Design Rule while routing" is checked. However, when I try to route a power trace it maintains the 0.6mm width. ![design2.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/R3pmd1rVky2qOHYK6yFMZ0X3KSdkIXtr9AwCoIMi.png) How do I change this? Mike.

You need to exit drawing track mode, and redraw this net, as your image , I belive the track width is 0.4mm, the right-panel will not change, it is for your modify track width, when you routing, the track width will follow the design rule first [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/PCB/Route/index.html](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/PCB/Route/index.html)

Even when I made the track width 0.3mm - the same as the other routed traces, it still will not connect to any pad. I still see the second image above without any track. Mike.

@pommie, Please take some time to study the Tutorial: [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/PCB/Route/index.html#Route-Tracks](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/PCB/Route/index.html#Route-Tracks)<br> <br> and these animated gif videos: ![deepin-screen-recorder_Select area_20210730131559.gif](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/jwmr2ByGnlvLo4MZmnFILNN86yaMPgRBa7hQVFq8.gif) ![deepin-screen-recorder_Select area_20210730132541.gif](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/nUg55ACoNyUXt9rP7hqBCB53ey1yfLYjhECeHxvy.gif)

> Please take some time to study the Tutorial: Please do me the courtesy of reading my post. This constant RTFM response is ridiculous. Mike.

@pommie, Sorry but I can only reproduce the behaviour that you describe in your initial post if the "Apply Design Rule while routing" tick box is **not** checked.

I stand by what I posted above.

Given that I cannot reproduce the behaviour you are seeing with the settingsthat you describe, can you post an animated gif showing your settings and exactly the steps you are taking to produce the behaviour you are reporting?

I've just tried to reproduce it but can't. However, the other day it definitely would't let me route the trace. Mike.
