Component Pin size vs PCB hole Size - when Creating Footprint

Hi Friends! I am about to create a new PCB footprint for some header connectors that I need to Custom make and have 2 questions below. Question 1: The pins of the component I want to use has a diameter width of 1.1mm. -Should I make the pin holes in the PCB footprint to be exactly 1.1mm dia width as well, or should I make them slightly larger so that I make sure they will fit? If Yes, on making them larger, what would be a good value? Is there a standard rule here? Question 2: The Spacing between the pin´s on the component is a standard of 2.54mm. When creating the right distance between the holes in the PCB footprint, Should the distance between the Pin-Holes be measured between the center of each hole? Apologies for my noob questions. @Tewski, Welcome to EasyEDA. Get a copy of the component datasheet and any other documents necessary and find the PCB Footprint drawing and dimensions. They will give you the hole dimensions and the centre to centre pin spacings. Set the hole diameters in your Footprint to the diameters given in the Footprint drawings in the datasheet: JLCPCB will automatically increase the drill diameters to allow for the through hole plating thickness.
