Components not showing up in PCB view

Hello. I've created a new schematic that uses custom schematic.lib files. I also created pcb.lib files to go with the schematic.lib. I set the package name in the schematic.lib to the package name in the pcb.lib. I have also set the pun#s correctly. When I go to convert the project to a PCB, I don't get any errors, and my custom pcb.lib components do not show up. I've created several custom parts, some of them show, and others do not. I don't see any obvious difference between those that work and those that don't. Some insight would be fantastic. Thanks.

It looks to be some sort of bug. Renaming the file seems to fix it, although I don't know why. Some names work, and some don't...

Hi, Welcome to EasyEDA. Could you answer some questions to give us some more information? `and my custom pcb.lib components do not show up. I've created several custom parts, some of them show, and others do not.` Do all your custom symbols (a.k.a. schematic libs) and PCB footprints (a.k.a. PCB libs) appear listed in your **My Parts** folder in the left hand Navigation panel? When you convert a schematic, do some of your custom parts then not appear in the PCB layout? If you use system parts (found from the SHIFT+F searchable library) in your schematic, do they appear in the PCB layout? `Renaming the file seems to fix it, although I don't know why. Some names work, and some don't...` Do you mean renaming the Project, the schematic, the custom schematic symbols, the custom PCB footprints or the PCB? Thanks.

Hello, Sorry for the delay. > Do all your custom symbols (a.k.a. schematic libs) and PCB footprints (a.k.a. PCB libs) appear listed in your My Parts folder in the left hand Navigation panel? Yes, they all appear in the Navigation Panel. > When you convert a schematic, do some of your custom parts then not appear in the PCB layout? Correct. All but one of my custom parts appear in the PCB layout. > If you use system parts (found from the SHIFT+F searchable library) in your schematic, do they appear in the PCB layout? System parts that have a pcb footprint associated with them do appear in the PCB layout. > Do you mean renaming the Project, the schematic, the custom schematic symbols, the custom PCB footprints or the PCB? Renaming the custom PCB footprint file fixed the problem. Below are several screenshots showing a working and not working pcb footprint. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: /editor/20160107/568d7506dcb1b.jpg

Hi, I think the problem is that you have used an illegal character (`,`)in the package name. It is best to stick to `a` - `z`, `A` - `Z`, `0` - `9` and `_` and to avoid any other characters. Note that although `-` can be used in non-spice symbol names only, it is best avoided. Spaces ` ` are not allowed in names. Note also that `~` must be avoided as it is a reserved character in EasyEDA and will not be parsed in any text input. (Dillon may be able to provide a complete list).
