Connect traces to copper plane

Hello! I have a design, where i have a 5V copper plane. I need to connect 3 usb ports' VCC to this plane via a capacitor. However, if i try to run a trace from the capacitor to the plane, the ligth-blue connection line(?) still indicates that i have to connect the usb's vcc to the +5V net. I can connect them "under" the pad, via a trace, but is there a way to connect them directly to plane? I can also edit the plane outline to cover the capacitor's pad, but that's hard to modify later on and not convenient :) Thanks for the answer :)

Please clarify your question by posting a link to a public version of your project or posting snippets of your schematic and PCB. Thanks.

Hi We won't support this, you can place a pad on the copper as you want to connect, and set them net as the same.
