Copper Area Wont Fill

**No matter how I try it, the copper area tool refuses to work. After I enclose my PCB´s area, it wont fill, but instead it will continue in drawing mode indefinitely. I couldn't find any information regarding this issue, so any help is highly appreciated.** ![ERROR-EASYEDA.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/MNm0rElsdd7Zr7O3ND8DD4NI9Bg5V2zCtBwdqN1d.png)

@Juan Felipe Maldonado, In the top left of your image there is a spurious spike in the copper area outline that you should remove to leave a simple rectangular shape.

Also, ensure that you have set the **Copper Area** to **Visible** in the lower part of the right hand Canvas attributes panel.

@phamduyscb Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I can't acces copper area properties because the copper area won't generate. After I create a rectangle wich encloses the PCB, it doesn't generate the copper area. Instead, it prompts me to place the next point on the enclosing polygon indefinitely (thus the spike on my outline, wich is here the cursor lies).

@andyfierman thank you for your response. The spike on top is not a point on the enclosing poligon, but rather the next point the copper area tool is prompting me to place (it follows wherever the cursor moves). Even after the PCB is enclosed, it won't generate the copper area but will rather stay in drawing mode indefinetely. The copper area is set to visible.

To exit any editing mode press the Esc key or just double-left click on the Canvas. Please read the Tutorial: [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Introduction/Basic-Skill/index.html](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Introduction/Basic-Skill/index.html) "Unfortunately, I can't acces copper area properties..." Yes you can. Click on the dotted outline of the copper area so that it lights up and then edit the Net attribute at the right hand panel or right click and select Attributes: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/nHEdMuuowxt0Zf8KliB1k9n3WVZraEWxZwSuErj4.png)

@andyfierman double left click worked like a charm. For some reason, Esc key erases my outline. Thank you.

@juanfmmaldonado, My bad. To end the current copper area outline (or any other editing action), right-click anywhere on the canvas area. To then exit any editing action or mode, right-click on the canvas again or press Esc. To end and exit any editing action or mode, double-right-click on the canvas.
