Copper Area does not respond for Panelized Board

I am working on panelized PCB with size 1x7. Each board has its own ground net. I want to apply copper area to each board for 2 reasons: common ground and copper region for Vcc signal. However, when I apply copper area to each board with corresponding ground net and Vcc signal net, I have following outcome. Copper are does not respond and fill the area. ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/ET9Jk5OE4DvILuH674Uu6SsJJXuk3UNS77clHTZC.png) As it can be seen, only the left-most board responds as I expected. ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/NDom32QkeIXbSaP7j6xUuCtcjKGADyPrKPHQcGwu.png) I arranged copper area manager for pouring Vcc copper first then corresponding ground and applied same procedure for each board. ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/OwzRr1hDdsdpuZJO64baW9bXybavDzGpJtgluPnA.png) I am willing to share the link of the project but it seems private. So I can add people willing to see more as members to the project. Thanks for your help. ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/cex1LT3dAX0SetDU5E4xY9YyvIGm9cFX6kA5Y9U4.png) This is what I see when 3D view is enabled.

At a guess, your VCC and GND net names are different from the net names of the copper areas in each of the panelised PCBs. However, the information about the VCC and GND net names on each panelized PCB is missing from your screenshots so it is hard to see what the problem might be. Can you post the link to a public copy of your project?

Thanks Andy. Problem is panelized board outlines can not be seen except the first panelized board. Just look at 3D view only the left most board can be seen by editor. Not sure what is going on but there is something not right about the way your board outlines are constructed because only certain parts of them can be selected. This may have something to do with the problem of the copper areas not building properly.

Since I am panelizing different designs think I need to build the layout manually.

1、Panelize tool doesn't support other objects, it just panelize the board outline 2、You need panelize manually [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/PCB/Panelize/index.html#Panelize-by-Manually](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/PCB/Panelize/index.html#Panelize-by-Manually) Panelize by Manually Process: 1. Select the whole board, hotkey `CTRL+A`. 2. Copy the whole board by reference point, hotkey `CTRL+SHIFT+C` or `CTRL+C`. 3. Paste the board via hotkey `CTRL+SHIFT+V`, this hotkey will keep the prefix and hide the ratline layer. 4. Paste repeatly, after finish, rebuild the copper area with `SHIFT+B`, recommend draw copper area at the end. **Notice** * If the board contains plane layer, it can not be panelized by manually, it will not generate the plane zone as you want.

Hi! I would suggest to make an individual project for each and every "body part" :-D That way you can panelize one board and get 2x2 copies of the same board, just for spares. That way you can stay in the 100mm x 100mm dimension requirements for the cheap PCB manufacture. 7 x 4 boards in total. Regards, Markus Virtanen HW / Electronics Designer

@UserSupport Rebuilding the copper area won't work any more. It still did last year. But i can't get it work any more. Even with the same example i used last year. Or is that only me? What should we do now?

@EDsteve, Please post your question with supporting information and a public example project to demonstrate the issue as a new Topic in the PCB Layout Category. Thanks.
