Hi, First off, sorry I think I have left my brain at home this morning. (Wondered what the cats were laying with!) What is the difference between a copper area vs a solid region? Colin

@cc_CGB, **Solid Region** creates an arbitrarily shaped area which you can then define to be in copper (Solid), a no-copper area (Cutout) or a Non-Plated-Through-Hole in the board (NPTH). **Copper Area** creates an arbitrarily shaped area of copper which will automatically cover any copper assigned to the same net name as the Copper Area but will clear around any copper assigned to a different net name. It can also optionally be configured to automatically create heat shunts (spokes) - or not - around the pads for component pads. Copper Area is useful for quickly creating copper floods and fills for ground and power planes.
