Copper area and vias

Hello, I have 2-layer board with rather large top and bottom copper areas that are GND net. Is it any way I can fill them with vias in order to connect one to the other without doing it manually? I created top and bottom copper areas with keeping islands - I need them to be populated with vias as well. Any ideas?

You have to add the vias manually. You could make a PCB package with multiple vias like 10MMPAD, 8MMPAD, 6MMPAD etc., in the library but that will be of limited use in smal areas.
