Creating a custom prototype board

Hello, I am new to EasyEDA and am trying to create a custom prototype board for the L293D chip. Essentially, I need pads for the chip, some of them pre-wired, like GND and Vcc, but most of them just connecting to adjacent pads, where I can manually solder additional components. Additionally, I want a 5x10 grid that can fit DIP components. I also need letterings (A, B, C, D, 1, 2, 3, 4 etc). What's the easiest way to do this?

Welcome to EasyEDA. Start with a schematic; Place the symbols for the L239D and any other parts including connectors and decoupling capacitors; Connect them up; Place some unconnected 5 or 10 pin 2.54mm (0.1") pitch headers for your 5x10 pad array; Mark them Convert to PCB = Yes, Add into BOM = No; Mark their pins with green Not Coonected 'X' symbols; Do the Essential checks in (4) in (2) in: []( Do Convert to PCB... Set the canvas grid = 100mils (2.54mm); Set the canvas snap grid = 100mils (2.54mm); Place footprints as required on the grid; Set the canvas snap grid = 25mils (0.635mm); Route the PCB; Do the Essential checks in (6) in (2) in: [](<br> <br> Submit board for manufacture.
