Are oval holes possible with EasyEDA software?  I have tried putting several holes next to each other, but can't get it to look quite right. edit: I actually just stumbled on putting one-off pads onto the board as a possible solution to this problem, has anyone else had any luck with this?

Your post title refers to "oblong holes". The post text then refers to "oval holes". You can create multilayer pads with semicircular ended slotted holes. You can create arbitrary shaped holes using the Solid Region tool set to Cutout. You can also create arbitrary shaped holes using the Board Outline tool.

@andyfierman Yes, I used two words to describe the exact same thing because I didn't know which term was used in the documentation.
