Hello, I try to create a new symbol like described in https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/spiceSimulation.htm Build Your Own Simulation Component But at simulation I just get Circuit: good* no system model for mysymbol, you can create a model by yourselfuntitled Error: unknown subckt: xu1 v1_+ 0 xu1_3 xu1_4 mysymbol Strange seems also I used Netports from wiring tool but when I click on them to edit them it shows NetLabel as name on the sidebar https://easyeda.com/jschoeni/TutorialMyDIYLib-e96023d71596442db9b89aa135498326 could you help? thanks Jürgen

Hi Jürgen, Welcome to EasyEDA. I am sorry that you are having problems with this. I think you may have found a bug so I have raised a Bug Report for this issue: https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Spice_symbol__Spice_subckt_does_not_work_-eS0icuL3l

To continue with using the EasyEDA simulation tools, please see the updated copy of the EasyEDA Simulation eBook at: https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1OWZVVFRAe_2NW3WratpkA_SGuHa5AcRow5ZRfvcoVTU/pub and also have a look at the Tips and Skill section of the forum: https://easyeda.com/forum/category/4 :)

@andyfierman Hello, I just want to mention that I tried this out with the original tools ngspice and gschem. I had a hard time to get it working, but in the end I added the attribute model-name to my symbol in the test-schematic and it worked fine. But of course it would be nice to get it working in easyEda too. However, What I want to do in the end is to include the model of a NE555 2 times into a symbol of a NE556. Or is there a simulatinon model for a 556 already available? I searched, but did not find it in easyEda. Thanks for all your help BR Jürgen

There is no model for the 556 yet in East but if you can wait a day or so I'll build one and put it in the library. Otherwise, if you search for 555_BJT_EE you'll find a better model for a bipolar 555 than the standard one in EasyEDA. You can build a subcircuit for a try from that but beware that the quiescent current may be on the high side.

@andyfierman Thanks so much for your help! - but there's really no hurry, I'm just playing a little bit with ngspice simulations to learn a little bit. BR Jürgen
