Hi All I'm having a terrible time getting my Schematic to copy to a PCB. I can't find the correct DB9F for the schematic for a PCB mounter DB9. Here is what I'm getting and can't find the correct schematic image. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: /editor/20150903/55e7cd1fbf8c0.jpg John

If you can't find one in the library allready, maybe you could build your own PCB symbol and save it to **My Parts**: > https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/PCBLib.htm#CreatingThePCBLibs If you are really stuck, can you upload a photo or a catalogue reference to the DB9 part that you have?

I think the pin rows are like Johns left hand footprint and not how he needs them to be in the footprint on the right.

John, Are you *sure* this is a 90 degree through hole PCB mount female 9 way D-type connector? I can't find anyone selling one with the pinout you have in your right hand image. :)

Hi Andy and Dillon The Female DB9 is one I have used before. It fits into the PCB directly. Here is a real picture of it ![enter image description here][1] [1]: /editor/20150904/55e8ef4d8455a.jpg

Now re looking at the picture maybe I have it positioned wrong on my PCB ?? On the PCB image the "C1" label should be facing the outside and projecting beyond the PCB edge. I tried to find another members board with a DB9 but no luck. I just have to have the mounting holes on the PCB. Fellows is my revised think cap correct. John

Dillon The "Hole" tool on the PCB is that a drilled out mounting hole ? When I look at the PCB Gerber file I don't see the "Hole" as a drilled out? John

THe hole has a very small ring, maybe not drilled out.

Hi Dillon I did some measurements and the "Hole" is a 80 mil and for a 3 mm screw for mounting to standoffs I have changed it to 115 mil hole. Now if I look at the "Photo" it looks like a "Black" hole image. I will have to wait for the board to be made and see if it s "Real Drilled out Hole" if not I have room to drill it out. John

John, For info: I don't think you actually need oval mounting holes for your connector. It has two through-hole solder mountings that will be to clip into circular holes. The connector seems to have the option of mountinh it using fixing screws through the slots nearer the front of the connector but that is optional. :)
