Deleted schematic components are added back into PCB layout

My EasyEDA project was getting really buggy; not updating components correctly, wires becoming disconnected for no reason (both of which I've reported in other posts, with no reply), so I decided to move some of the daughterboards to their own schematics and PCB layouts in the same project. I did this by first cloning the schematic, then renaming to SCH daughterboard 1, then cloning the PCB layout and renaming to PCB daughterboard 1. I then went into both schematics and removed the unneeded components (divided them in half, basically). I even went into the PCB layouts and removed those components on each. However, when I run Design>Update PCB, the removed components are restored, even though they don't exist in the schematic from which the PCB was derived! What is going on, please? I wanted to use JLCPCB to make the PCBs for my new product, but I'm having so many headaches with EasyEDA and no-one seems to even respond to these bug reports. Best regards, Dax Liniere.

I'm trying to read between the lines a bit here. You talk about "...in the same project" and " update the PCB ". EasyEDA Std treats all schematics in a project as being on a single PCB. So if you have not moved the edited schematics into a new project then when you do **Update PCB...** its adding all the parts from all the schematics into the PCB. With a new project holding only your edited schematics, you would need to do **Convert to PCB...**

Hey Andy! This forum's lack of notifications has struck again... I've only just seen this now. Thanks for the reply and the explanation. The problem was doing my head in! You mentioned that this is how EE Std treats schematics. Do you know if EE Pro has this limitation? Surely you are able to have a large, multi-board project in software that has the 'pro' label? Thanks again and all the best, Dax.

@daxliniere, Hi Dax, It is supposed to deal with multi-board projects but I am not familiar with Pro yet.

Do you use pro edito? pro edition copy and paste will remove the unique id, you can rese them at Design menu, and then update to PCB
