My EasyEDA project was getting really buggy; not updating components correctly, wires becoming disconnected for no reason (both of which I've reported in other posts, with no reply), so I decided to move some of the daughterboards to their own schematics and PCB layouts in the same project.
I did this by first cloning the schematic, then renaming to SCH daughterboard 1, then cloning the PCB layout and renaming to PCB daughterboard 1. I then went into both schematics and removed the unneeded components (divided them in half, basically). I even went into the PCB layouts and removed those components on each.
However, when I run Design>Update PCB, the removed components are restored, even though they don't exist in the schematic from which the PCB was derived!
What is going on, please? I wanted to use JLCPCB to make the PCBs for my new product, but I'm having so many headaches with EasyEDA and no-one seems to even respond to these bug reports.
Best regards,
Dax Liniere.
