Hi i make mostly coils and i wonderd how i could use vias from the front copper layer to the back. before i made normal pcb's with compenents and uses NET to connect it to the apropiate layer but how can you do this without schematic? i just want a VIA from Toplayer to Bottom layer. i am not sure if just placing a via on the top layer will work... before i order anything. Kind regards Joppe

Vias connect to copper with the same net name on all layers. You do not place a via "on a layer": you just place it. It may help you to study: [https://oshwlab\.com/andyfierman/Elements\_of\_a\_simple\_PCB\-e42c7b2a4e17449f821a97d04806aeeb](https://oshwlab.com/andyfierman/Elements_of_a_simple_PCB-e42c7b2a4e17449f821a97d04806aeeb)<br> <br>

i understand but you do not have NET names when its is not a circuit i want to make, i want to make  2 coils connected by Vias,   so there is no shematic or something.

You have to add your own net names. See: [https://easyeda\.com/forum/topic/How\_does\_the\_Connect\_Pad\_to\_Pad\_tool\_work\_\-JgQO0Ay7H](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How_does_the_Connect_Pad_to_Pad_tool_work_-JgQO0Ay7H)
