Design rule to Design rule Clearance

Hi, Could it be possible to add a an extra parameter in the rule settings? Clearance to other rules. It should not be a difficult task. BR Peter ![Screenshot from 2021-12-06 13-21-23.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/zLmqiq9yCcuEe7YB3w2sV8VAbo8GzWkBKu86wWSe.png)

+1 when doing high voltage circuits this would make "ignoring and keeping track of" a list of DRC errors that are normal not a thing. For instance the clearance distance between similar polarity (relay contacts of a high voltage output) can have minimal clearance as the polarity is the same, but the clearance between that net and GND/+3.3V/etc needs to be >4mm (for instance). The way I do this now is set the HV design rule group to 4mm and ignore all DRC errors of nets within that group and worry about the ones that are against low voltage nets. In some tools they have filtering for DRC errors so you can "filter" out DRC errors you know are fine.

For instance this is one of our HV designs: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/fYu71cH5ppDtGTDVRsy5ReJNrbGimGuEvBkJvPMi.png) ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/lsX6mBfpGV0JiZqfgXb3yDaZ26dDlgd0KSCadRqc.png)

"...the clearance distance between similar polarity (relay contacts of a high voltage output) can have minimal clearance as the polarity is the same..." Hmmmm, be very careful with that as an example. If those tracks are on different sides of the switched contacts then they do need the high voltage clearance. Maybe a better example would be the Kelvin connections to each end of a high side current sense resistor in a high voltage supply. Both tracks are at a high voltage with respect to ground but may only have a volt or smaller potential difference between each other.

It will be no problem, if you only have 2 section you need to ensure clearance, but when you have more sections it is not so easy. if you look into how to make the DCR check function for more sections, there should be a property for every net. Like Net1, RuleA Net2, RuleB Net3, RuleC Net4, RuleD Lets say RuleA is 1 mm and RuleC is 4 mm So the test should be like a Maxrix Net1 should be tested with RuleA so 1 mm distance to all other nets, in this test we do not see the demand for 4 mm to Net 3 but when we test Net 3 we check for 4 mm also agains Rule A. It could really be a strong function to have.
