Desktop Client 6.5.20 Contains virus

Hi - This is new to me and I have been using EasyEDA for many years. Two different brand virus protection software’s, on two different computers claim that the new Desktop Client 6.5.20 contains a virus and either deletes the file right away when trying to run the file, or quarantines the file after download. I really hope that EasyEDA stays clean and not add additional hidden software in the install? Or, that their download section has been somehow manipulated with and virus attached to the download files? This is of a great concern. Thanks, Michael

I'm not sure if there's a virus or not, but I've downloaded both v6.5.20 and v6.5.19 and neither of them will run on my Mac. I've been using EasyEDA for a while and have never had a problem running the client app. Now it says that the app is damaged and can't run. @usersupport any info here?

Same here, EasyEDA 6.5.19 was working on my mac yesterday, but 6.5.20 doesn't run, I have an error message: "EasyEDA" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Bin. I can either cancel or move to bin. I'm on macOS 12.6 on a macbook pro 16" 2019. Unfortunately, I replaced the old version (the working one) with the broken one. Is there a link were I can download the v.6.5.19 for macOS?

Interesting that MAC says that the file is damaged whereas Windows 10 says, or more correctly the virus software says, that it contains a virus and is unsaffe to run. Further is also claims that it is trying to perform some instructions that are detrimental to the stability of the system. I guess if there are "damaged" code instructions in the code that it could react in such a away. But if the file is damage somehow that seems like an odd message. Of course, OS's or programs are not always very straight forward in their error reporting... So that makes me wonder if MAC OS or Microsoft OS is correct in the error report? Still of great concern and the, so far, lack of reaction from EasyEDA, which usually are pretty good at answering quickly.

@michaelw Very odd indeed, I've just downloaded and installed 6.5.20 on a windows 10 machine and had no virus warnings and all seems perfectly ok.

Looks like 6.5.20 has been replaced. Please see the post by UserSupport in: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/latest-64-bit-linux-install-weird-message-8cc64fb328e64665a5dc930493f8c71a](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/latest-64-bit-linux-install-weird-message-8cc64fb328e64665a5dc930493f8c71a)

Found a way to fix this on Mac: Open terminal and issue the following command (after installing the new version): xattr -cr /Applications/EasyEDA.app Now try to start EasyEDA. In my case it just started :-)
