Desktop Client update on Linux

I have a working installation Ubuntu 20.04 and Easyeda Client 6.4.19.4 and would like to update to latest easyeda client.
Do you uninstall 6.4.19.4 to update or are there any easier way?

The instructions in the desktop download advise uninstall then reinstall.

You can overwrite to install the new version
