In EasyEDA Std there is no way to split a net by name or design rule. The way you are doing it is about the only way you can make this work in EasyEDA Std. You can do this without changing the net name simply by changing the track width manually when you do the layout. EasyEDA Pro has a net short symbol but I have not tried using it.
