Downloading Local Auto Router

Can someone help me install the local auto router onto my Mac. I tried following the instructions posted by Easy EDA, but they don't seem to be working. After I download the zip file , I open the terminal, go to the directory where mac64.sh file is located and try to put in the command sh mac64.sh, but I keep getting the following error: MacBook-99:~ hopkinsStudent$ sh /Users/hopkinsStudent/Desktop/easyeda-router-mac-x64-v0.8.11/mac64.sh chmod: jre/mac64/bin/java: No such file or directory /Users/hopkinsStudent/Desktop/easyeda-router-mac-x64-v0.8.11/mac64.sh: line 5: log/router.log: No such file or directory

"After I download the zip file , I open the terminal, go to the directory where mac64.sh file is located..." To be clear: have you unzipped the file into a directory?

Try: 1. navigating to the target directory;  2. then opening the terminal in the target directory;  3. then entering; sh mac64.sh at the command line.

It keeps saying No Such file in directory. See below. Any other suggestions? macbook:~ hopkinsStudent$ /Users/hopkinsStudent/Desktop/easyeda-router-mac-x64-v0.8.11 -bash: /Users/hopkinsStudent/Desktop/easyeda-router-mac-x64-v0.8.11: is a directory macbook:~ hopkinsStudent$ sh mac64.sh sh: mac64.sh: No such file or directory

What happens if you run the command as root?

Nothing doing. Are the commands  I'm putting into the terminal I posted up above correct?

@hokpinsStudent, The process and commands should be pretty much the same as on linux but I don't have a Mac so I can't be sure. Can you post a screenshot or listing of the terminal commands from when you unzip the archive? Have you tried emailing support @ easyeda.com directly? Your problem is not specifically an EasyEDA problem so you could also try asking on a Mac user's forum.

@UserSupport, I can't work out what this user might be doing wrong, could you help with this?

Thank you for the help. I figure it out - I was operating the in the wrong directory. It now works as it should. It would be helpful if EasyEDA posted a step-by-step video on their website both for windows and mac as they are slightly different. I used this vidoe which helped quite a bit: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQSbtptqBY8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQSbtptqBY8)

@hokpinsStudent, Having found that the installation and running instructions may be a bit confusing and, from tour most recent post, now managed to successfully install and run the autorouter dare I say that you are now prime candidate for writing a short "How to install the autorouter on a Mac" topic and posting it in the Tips and Skill category. You could also produce a video and link to it from the topic. It's just one of the things that help to turn a Forum into a Community. :)
