You can see which library a Symbol or Footprint comes from in the Libraries tool in the left hand panel or invoked by SHIFT+F. If it is User Contributed then there is a message pops up to check it. That said it is safest to always check every Symbol or Footprint against the manufacturer's datasheets. If there a problem with a Symbol or Footprint please use the Report Error tool.

@mixkef, Sorry: I had not realised that you were posting about the Pro edition. SHIFT+F doesn't work and there does not seem to be a "Report Error" tool the way there is in Std.
