Hi,
I am sorry, you maybe need to refresh to the new version, you just use a cache version of EasyEDA
https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Manually_clear_offline_application_cache_if_EasyEDA_editor_page_cannot_update_to_new_version-5GE0YWhDn
I do not know how this has happened but somehow David has been able to copy or create and save a PCB Module so that it appears publicly but it seems to behave as if it is still file belonging to a different user.
Is this a bug in the module creation and saving process?
Try this:
1. Create a new Project;
2. Make it public if you want it to be visible to others for help;
3. Open the PCB Module that you are having trouble with;
4. Do `Save As...` into the new Project.
That should fix the problem.
Glad that worked.
In EasyEDA, the workflow is to (i) first create a Project and then (ii) to create a schematic and/or a PCB.
Then you can decide if you want to make the project private or public.
When you have finished then you can decide (iii) if you want to copy all or part of a Schematic or PCB layout as a Module to use again later.
That should avoid a repeat of any of the problems of ownership and access rights of files that you had in this case.
